COVID-19 Update 31 Aug

Urgent Notice – Visitor Restrictions for Two Weeks

We have been advised the following by Dr Kerry Chant Chief Health Officer NSW Health:

“Following the recent cases in the Sydney CBD, I am requesting residential aged care facilities in metropolitan Sydney and the Nepean Blue Mountains and Central Coast regions implement visitor restrictions for the next two weeks. In addition, staff who work or live in these areas must wear masks whilst at work. This temporary requirement will be reviewed in two weeks”

This means that unfortunately no visitation will be allowed for the next two weeks. All staff are now wearing masks. This is a precautionary measure by NSW Health and as we have indicated many times before we need to take every precaution we can to try to prevent the spread of COVID-19 into Adelene Village.

We will keep you updated with any further changes. A Zoom meeting will be held later on this week with any further updates. The zoom link will be sent to all listed relatives of those within our care facilities once this date and time has been set.

Thank you for your understanding, should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact either our Facility Manager Anna Ross or me directly.

Regards

Justin Dover
