COVID-19 Update 7 Jan

We would like to provide the following NSW Health Visitation update, January 7th 2021.

Masks:
All staff and visitors wear a surgical mask within the facility.

Visiting:
Residents can have a maximum of only two visitors each day.
They may have different visitors each day.
Visitors from the Northern Area of the Northern Beaches, City of Wollongong, Cumberland City Council or the Canterbury Ward of Canterbury Bankstown Council are to be excluded.

Visitors must be excluded if –
– they are living in a household with a person who is currently self-isolating.
– they have been to any of the latest COVID-19 locations in NSW at the times and dates listed, excluding the monitor for symptoms list.
– they have a fever (37. 5°C or higher) or symptoms of COVID-19 (acute blocked nose congestion has been added to the list of symptoms)
– they are a close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period.

Resident Outings:
Residents can leave the facility to attend family gatherings of fewer than 5 people, if there will be no persons at the event that during the last 14 days that:
– have been to the Northern Area of the Northern Beaches, City of Wollongong, Cumberland City Council or the Canterbury Ward of Canterbury Bankstown Council.
– are a close contact of a person confirmed with COVID-19 and are within their self-isolation period.
– live in any of the locations listed.
– have been to any of the latest COVID-19 locations in NSW at the times and dates listed, excluding the monitor for symptoms list
– are living in a household with a person who is a close contact or otherwise currently self-isolating.

By following this directive, we are reducing the risk of COVID-19 from entering our facility. We will update you if there are any further changes.
